Wilford "Bill" Payne Ava, MO

Wilford Gordon "Bill" Payne, 79 years, 4 months, and 23 days old, passed away on March 16, 2012, at Cox Medical Center South.

Bill was born October 24, 1932 in Cabool, MO to Earnest and Pauline (Booth) Payne . He was one of ten children.

Bill was employed by Pacific Gas & Electric in California before returning to Missouri to live. Bill was an Air Force Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict.

Bill was preceded by his parents and four brothers. Bill is survived by his long time friend Glenda Wade,Ava, MO, five children, Brenda Payne, Linda Perera, Linn Payne, Richard Payne, and Mark Payne, three sisters, one brother, and many other family and friends.

Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
