Hugh Stanton Kail Thornfield, MO

Hugh Stanton Kail, 58 years, passed away on March 27, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. Hugh was a Father, Son, Husband, Friend and Hero!

Hugh was born August 27, 1953 in Coshocton, OH to Arden Arlandis and Lena Louise (Swindell) Kail.

On Oct. 7, 1972 Hugh and Patricia "Pat" Pawlus were united in marriage in Casa de Oro, CA and to this union two children were born. Their love and committment was for them "forever plus one day."

Hugh was a retired Structures Mechanic. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and had served his country for 20 years, retiring numerous Naval Aircraft during that time. He enjoyed drawing and painting, he was always doodling. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. He loved being in the outdoors and taking care of their "little bit of Heaven on earth".

Hugh was preceded in death by his father, Arden Arlandis Kail.

Hugh is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pat" Kail, Thornfield, MO, two children, Nicole Jackson and Shaun Kail, his mother, Lena Louise Kail, Cambridge, OH, three grandchildren, Victoria "Tori", Katherine "Kati" and Jonathan Jackson and one sister, Helena Peryl Kail.

Cremation services for Hugh are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Family requests memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
