JOHN RICHARD GANT

John Richard Gant, 81, of Gainesville, MO passed away on April 12, 2012 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. He was born on February 15, 1931 in Rockford, IL the son of John Thomas and Louise M. (Nerf) Gant.

John had worked in farming and the construction business prior to moving to the Ozarks. He had been a resident of the Harlin Heights Apartments for the past few years, and although he had no family here, he found comfort in his friends and church family at the First Baptist Church in Gainesville.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Gainesville with Mike Dillin officiating. Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
