DONNA MAE GARGIONE

Donna Mae Gargione, 77, of Caulfield, MO, passed to heaven on April 22, 2012 at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO. She was born on November 13, 1934 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Lucy and Herman Mott.

Donna was united in marriage to Albert Ralph Gargione on October 29, 1951 in Chicago, IL. To this union five children were born. Donna graduated high school from Park Manor High in Chicago and later received her teaching certificate from SMSU-WP, now Missouri State University-West Plains, MO. She was very proud of her certificate and that she was able to complete such an achievement late in life. She was a teacher at the Bakersfield School District for several years. Although she loved her job as teacher, nothing compared to her job as mother. Donna was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was always her number one concern. Donna was a Christian and a member of the Mineral Point Community Fellowship in Caulfield, MO, and most recently attended the Bakersfield Assembly of God Church in Bakersfield, MO.

She is survived by two sons, Al Gargione of Bakersfield, MO and Tom Gargione of Caulfield, MO; one daughter Margaret Collins of Caulfield, MO; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ralph Gargione; two sons, Mike and Frank Gargione; two grandchildren, Spike and Emily Rose; and her special aunt, Aunt Mart.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 in the White Oak Cemetery, Tecumseh, MO with Kevin Kuk and Curtis Tackitt officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, April 25th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO. Memorial contributions may be given to the family as a love offering. On line condolences may be made at www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome.com.
