U.S. Veteran

CHARLES LEE STEVENS died July 26, 2012 in Little Rock, AR. He was born August 03, 1931 in Gainesville, Missouri, the son of Edward Elvis Stevens and Vada Susie Landers.

Charles served in the Korean war and worked for Mobil Oil Company before and after the war. During his career with Mobil, he lived in many places around the world. In 1977, he moved his family to Gainesville, Missouri where he and Lise remained until they moved to Little Rock in 2006. He retired from Mobil in 1984 and became a Deputy Sheriff for Ozark County, a job he enjoyed until he moved to Little Rock.

Charles was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Jimmie Frank Stevens and Billy Edward Stevens. He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Lise-Marie Renee Menager Stevens, two daughters, Gaelle Stevens Bryant, her husband Derek and their children, Benjamin and Annelise; and Sabine Stevens Boulware, her husband David and their children Aubrey and Olivia (Lili).

Services will be 2 PM Monday, July 30 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, MO with burial to follow at Sims Cemetery in Gainesville. On line condolences may be made at www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome.com.
