Clifford

Clifford Ray Woolman, III, age 26, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, in an automobile accident East of Monett, Missouri.

He was born December 31, 1985, in McKinney, Texas, the son of Clifford “J.R.” Woolman, Jr. and Penny (Hall) Woolman. On October 7, 2006, in Springfield, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Erica Stever, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Landan Heithold of the home; one daughter, Sakiya Woolman of the home; his father and step-mother, J.R. and Kim Woolman of Ava, Missouri; his mother and step-father, Penny and Jarrell Gaston of Rhome, Texas; one brother, Chris Woolman of Ava, Missouri and one sister, Cindy Howerton and her husband, William of Rhome, Texas, Grandparents, Clifford & Wanda Woolman, Ava, MO and Brent & Louella Hall, Celina, TX and a host of other family and friends.

Preceding him in death was a grandmother, Elda Faye Medlock.

Clifford was a graduate of Ava High School in Ava, Missouri. He had worked for Wells Aluminum in Monett as a fabricator and was in the process of becoming a fireman for the Joplin Fire Department. He had recently moved from Republic, Missouri to Aurora to make his home and was currently a volunteer with the Republic Fire Department. Some of his favorite pastimes were firefighting, health and fitness, coaching his children’s ball teams, an absolute love of music, and was an avid reader of comic books.

The family will receive friends at 6:30 P.M. Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri.

Memorials may be made as love offerings to the family at the funeral home or in care of Clifford Woolman III at a Great Southern Bank.
