Aaron Paul Petersen

Aaron Paul Petersen, 64 years, 8 months, and 23 days old, passed away on  December 3, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, with his wife by his side.

Aaron was born March 10, 1960, in Madison, Wisconsin, to Herbert and Patricia (Johnson) Petersen.

Aaron and Francine "Frankie" Branning were united in marriage in 1993 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.  They moved to Squires, Missouri and lived there twenty five years before moving to Republic.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Aaron loved taking his friends fishing.  He also enjoyed cooking and watching the Packers and Badgers play football.  He also liked playing games on the computer and visiting family and friends.

He was a Christian and a member of the Ava Assembly of God.

Although Aaron didn't live close to his siblings, he loved them very much and always looked forward to their phone calls.

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tim Petersen; and uncle, Irving Petersen.

Aaron is survived by his wife, Francine "Frankie"; six siblings, Christine Davis (his godmother), Herbert Petersen, Laradene Reinke, Marie Ramsey, Day Petersen, and Kurt Petersen; and many other relatives and friends.

Cremation services for Aaron are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Ava Assembly of God church.
