Abigail Renee Clayton the daughter of William "Bill" Clayton and Elizabeth (Satterfield) Linder was born Sept. 29, 1986 in Peoria, IL and passed away June 19, 2008 at the age of 21 years 9 months and 20 days.

Abigail was a resident of Brimfield for the past 3 months moving from Yates City, IL. She was employed as a service representative with Maui Jim, a sunglass company. She also had worked as a nurse's aid in Gainesville, MO. Abigail loved driving and swimming with her friends. She loved to laugh and would do anything for anyone. She was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger.

Abigail was preceded in death by a grandmother, Willow Mae Satterfield, an uncle Randy Clayton, a cousin, Josh, a great grandfather, Cecil Turner, and great grandmother, Lois Satterfield. Her survivors include, her father, William "Bill" L. Clayton and Patty, Elmwood, IL, her mother, Elizabeth A. Linder and Randy, Yates City, IL, one brother, Zachary Clayton, Yates City, IL, two step-brothers, Kyle and Tyler McCready, Elmwood, IL, one step-sister, Candy Linder, Galesburg, IL, maternal grandfather, Charles Satterfield, , paternal grandmother, Rose Clayton and Wilford, all of Wasola, MO, great grandmother, Iva Turner, Ava, MO, many aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be Sat. June 21, 2008, 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with the Rev. Stan Collins, Rev. Dan Cottingim and Rev. Mike Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat. 1:00 P.M. until service time. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Abigail Clayton scholarship fund for her brother Zachary.
