ADDIE ANN TERRY
Addie Terry, Mountain Home, AR, formerly of Pontiac, MO, passed away June 4, 2009 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR at the age of 87 years.
She was born on March 16, 1922 in Yellville, AR the daughter of Henry and Kate (Thayer) Whitson.
On August 30, 1941 she was united in marriage to Carthel Terry in Gainesville, MO and to this union four children were born. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Addie was a Christian and a member of the Frontier General Baptist Church in Pontiac, MO.
Mrs. Terry is survived by her two sons Verl Terry of Mountain Home, AR; Ronnie Terry of Gassville, AR; one daughter Carolyn Dancy of Pleasanton, KS; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother Vernon Whitson of Ohio; one sister Vicky Tolliver of Cotter, AR; and a host of nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Carthel; one daughter Loretta Walker; and three brothers.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 8, 2009 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Ron Pinckney officiating. Interment will be in the Price Place Cemetery near Pontiac, MO. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2-4 PM at the funeral home.
