Agnes L. Uhlman, 90 years, 6 months, and 13 days old, passed to heaven on October 18, 2011 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO.

Agnes was born April 5, 1921 in Bertha, MO to Arthur and Ethel (Cooley) Heath.

On April 12, 1947, Agnes and Edward Uhlman were united in marriage in Drury, MO, known as Buckhart at the home of Zim Sims.

Agnes taught school at Bakersfield and Bertha for several years and then owned and operated with Ed, the Uhlman Store for many years. She also worked on the farm with Ed. Agnes loved gardening.
She was a member of the Gentryville Church of God where she served as Sunday School Teacher and Treasurer for years.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward in 2010, two brothers, Russell & Roy Heath and two infant brothers.


Agnes is survived by two children, Linda Uhlman & partner, Bobby Banks, Seymour, MO and Robert Uhlman, special cousin, Emogene Sprague, Drury, MO, two grandsons, Michael and David, one sister, Mabel Coonts, Wilder, ID, a step sister, Kathleen & Bert Stegman, nieces & nephews, Rita Flemming, Dwight & Darlene Heath, Gretchen & Bud Luna, Larry & Chris Coonts, Twila and Mark Poppler, Roger Heath, several great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Agnes will be Thursday, October 20, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the New Hope Cemetery, Drury, MO. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. T.J. Stout. Memorials may be made to Gideons.
