Agnes Williams

Agnes Williams, 91 years, 7 months, and 24 days old, passed to heaven on January 24, 2016 at Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs, MO with her family by her side.
Agnes was born May 31, 1924 in Douglas County, MO to Theodore and Dortha (Bunch) Hurst.
On Aug. 10, 1946 Agnes and Bobby Lee Williams were united in marriage in Mountain Home, AR and to this union two sons and four daughters were born.
Agnes was a long time resident of the Drury community. Before settling down, Agnes and Bobby traveled and lived in many places.
Agnes was a farmer and homemaker. She devoted her entire life to raising her kids and taking care of her family.
She was a Christian and attended Prior Church in Vanzant for many years.
Agnes enjoyed gardening, especially her pretty flowers. She enjoyed being outdoors and going on daily walks, accompanied by her animals. Agnes was an excellent cook and loved cooking favorite foods for family and friends. She enjoyed reading, quilting, sewing, puzzle books and visiting with family and friends on the phone.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bobby Lee Williams, two sons, Donald Lee and Lee Michael, two daughters, Joyce Ann and a stillborn baby girl, two grandsons, Dallas Jared Lee Fredrick and Dylan Wayne Fredrick and one sister, Oneal Luellen.
Agnes is survived by her daughters, Janet and Paul Smith, Vanzant, MO and Karen and Dallas Fredrick, Drury, MO, two grandchildren, Sirena and Jonah Melton, Drury, MO and Katlyn Smith and Tyler Burchell, Vanzant, MO, two great-grandchildren, Cole and Isabel Bradshaw, Drury, MO, one brother, James "Billy" and Bonnie Hurst, Mtn. Grove, MO, three sisters, Anna Lue Collins, Drury, MO, Ella May Daugherty, Ava, MO and Bertha Sharon and Dean Scherer, Drury, MO, many nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Agnes will be Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Hurst Cemetery, Gentryville, MO. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Dwayne Sparks. Memorials may be made to the Hurst Cemetery or Donor's Choice.
