ALAN JAMES GREEN
Retired Wichita, KS Firefighter/Paramedic died unexpectedly on 10/22/2009 at his home in Gainesville, MO. Alan was born on December 20, 1954 in Wichita, KS. He attended North High School. He is survived by his wife, Ruthie Green, mother-Frances Srack, father-Darrell Green, sister-Linda Gilmore, brother Michael Green, nephew-Christopher Gilmore and niece-Shannon Gilmore.
He is also survived by stepson-Darren Book, his wife and two children, and stepdaughter Renee Tingley, her husband and three children.
Alan was larger than life and will be missed by many.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 31, 2009 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to: Flight 93 National Memorial at www.honorflight93.org/memorial.
