Allen "Neil" McCoy, 77 years, 2 months, and 20 days old, passed to Heaven on July 22, 2015 at Heart of the Ozarks.
Neil was born May 2, 1938 near Licking, MO to Roger Allen McCoy and Thelma Virginia (Self) McCoy.
Neil and Eileen Alice Culvey were united in marriage on December 27, 1957 in Belvidere, IL and they had three children.
Neil worked many years as a high quality machinist, where he received several awards.
Neil enjoyed yard work, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.
He was a Christian and a member of the Oak Grove General Baptist Church, in Wasola, MO.
Neil was preceded in death by one daughter, Colleen Marie McCoy, three grandchildren, Dusty Wolfenbarger, Christi McCoy, and Destany Dobbs and one brother, Earl Edward McCoy.
Neil is survived by his wife Eileen, two children, Allen LeRoy and Karen McCoy and James Allen and Jaime McCoy, five grandchildren, Brittany and Dustin Huff, Curtis and Angel McCoy, Casey and Christy McCoy, Ciera McCoy, and Leah McCoy, nine great-grandchildren, Jessie Slavens, Sharon Wolfenbarger, Takoma Dobbs, Sarah Wolfenbarger, Ethan Poppas, Dane McCoy, Dylan McCoy, Kinsley McCoy and Devon Sudbury, eleven brothers and sisters, Nina Latt, Gene McCoy, Tony McCoy, Roger McCoy, Mary Lou Wilkins, Michael McCoy, Gary McCoy, Steve McCoy Debbie Lott, Larry McCoy and Patricia Lawing, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Neil will be Saturday, July 25, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Girdner Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, July 25, from 9:00 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Dwain Moore.
