Ann D. Jordison, 96 1/2 years, passed away on March 3, 2010 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO.

Ann was born July 14, 1913 in Washington, IL to William and Elizabeth Maria (Schmidt) Wentorf.

On Feb. 14, 1936 Ann and Lowell F. Jordison were united in marriage in Dayton, IA and to this union two children were born. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Ava Restoration Branch. Ann enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing and in her latter years she hand quilted. She loved being with all of her family and friends. Mimi taught her family by example, how to grow old and die with grace.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lowell F. Jordison in 2008, a brother, Fred Wentorf and one infant sibling, her grandmother, Katie Greiner, who raised Ann along with her aunt Carrie Kurtz.

Ann is survived by two children, LoAnn Byers, Ava, MO and L. Dean & wife Mary Jordison, Gilbert, Iowa, five grandchildren, David & wife Robin Byers, Debbie Byers, Steve & wife Tina Jordison, Lora & husband Shawn VanDePol and B.J. & wife Emily Jordison, ten great grandchildren, Tara Byers, Jennifer & husband, Tadd Pennepacker, Joshua Byers, Caleb Jordison, Gavin Jordison, Mason Bennett, Logan Jordison, Jacob VanDePol, Meghan VanDePol and Rylie Jordison, sister-in-law, Marie Jordison, brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Ray and Betty Jordison and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Ann will be Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ Ava Restoration Branch, south of Ava on Hwy 5. Officiating will be Elder Ike Rhoades and Elder Randy Spurlock. Interment of cremains will be at a later date and time in Ames, IA. Cremation services were conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Memorials may be made to Church of Jesus Christ Ava Restoration Branch or to Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare.
