ANNA JOSEPHINE GUZIK

Anna Josephine Guzik, 90, of Gainesville, MO, formerly of Cicero, IL, passed to heaven on August 19, 2011 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center, Gainesville, MO. She was born on October 6, 1920 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Frank and Marina (Spagnola) Gatto.

On August 5, 1949 she was united in marriage to Chester Guzik in Chicago, IL and to this union four children were born. Anna was a homemaker. She loved to cook and do crafts. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed nothing more than the time she spent with her family. Anna was a Christian. She was baptized on November 13, 1920. She was a member of the St. William's Catholic Church in Gainesville.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers; one sister; two sons-in-law; and one granddaughter. She is survived by her children Marina Hughey of Covington, TN, Cecilia Kazmierczak of Orland Park, IL, Chester Guzik Jr. and wife Patricia of Maywood, IL and Edward William Guzik Sr. and wife Theresa of Gainesville, MO; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister Concetta Burm and husband John of Theodosia, MO.

Funeral services for Anna will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in the St. William's Catholic Church in Gainesville, MO. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 4-7 pm in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO.
