Anna Irene Welch, 84 years, passed to Heaven on May 29, 2014 at her home with family by her side.

Anna was born August 31, 1929 in Wasola, MO to Ira and Nellie (Walker) Harris.

Anna and Marvin Welch were united in marriage on November 29, 1946 in Mtn. Home, AR and to this union seven children were born.

Anna loved being outdoors. Anna and Marvin enjoyed going on trips together. She also enjoyed spending time and camping with her husband, Marvin, taking care of her flowers, and being with her three dogs, Ringo, Patch and Star. She loved going to garage sales with her family.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her step dad, Chester Twitty, husband, three sons, Larry, Rick, and an infant son.

Anna is survived by four children, Gary Welch of the home, David and Marcia Welch, Marvann Welch and Mary McDonell and Brenda and Daniel Deatherage, nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren, four sisters, Bernice Miller, Allene Jackson, Okema and Bob Haden, Carol Atkins, one brother, Delbert and Joyce Twitty and a host of other relatives and friends. Anna will be missed dearly by her family and friends.


Memorial services for Anna will be Tuesday, June 3 at 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be at the Girdner Cemetery following the service. Officiating will be Pastor Marvin Loftin. Memorials can be made to the Girdner Cemetery.
