Anton Goossen

Anton Goossen, 90 years, 2 months, 25 days old, passed on to Glory on December 19, 2019 at his home with family by his side.

Anton was born September 25, 1929 in Goessel, Kansas to John D. and Florentine (Ratzlaff) Goossen.

Anton was a Christian and loved reading and "arguing" the Bible.

Anton and Linda Taylor were united in marriage October 8, 1959  at  Farmington, New Mexico and to this union they were blessed with four children.

Anton was a Truck Driver and Farmer for many years.

He loved spending time with his family.

Anton was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda, granddaughter Maggy Hicks, three brothers, Ruben, John, and Raymond, and his sister, Della Kaiser.

Anton is survived by his four children and their spouses, Janet & Scott Boone, Sally & Roy Hicks, John & Leanna Goossen, and Julie & Danny Scott, seven grandchildren, Shannon, Elise, Maizy, Kaylee, Camie, Emily, and Jesse, five great grandchildren, one sister, Alvena Bartel, one brother, Alfred Goossen, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Private Family Graveside services for Anton will be Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Arden Cemetery, Ava, MO.
