Artilla Mildred Stone, 77 years, passed away on December 16, 2013 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, MO.
Artilla was born December 26, 1935 in Longrun, MO to Otis Sterling "Doc" and Rae (Tabor) Silvey.
Artilla was a resident of the Bruner community. She was a homemaker. On November 2, 1951 Artilla and Mathew Stone were united in marriage in Mtn. Home, AR and to this union three daughters were born.
Artilla was baptized in her youth at the Longrun Baptist Church. She and Mathew had been attending the Bruner Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, watching her hummingbirdsand keeping track with all her grand and great grandchildren.
Artilla was preceded in death by her parents.
Artilla is survived by her husband, Mathew Stone, Bruner, MO, three daughters and their spouses; Jeannine Spurlock, Ava, MO, Tuila & Allan Rumold, Topeka, KS, and Sheila & Rick Spurlock, Ozark, MO, seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one brother, Doyle Silvey, Spokane, MO and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Artilla will be Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with a private family burial in the Thornfield Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Allen Maggard. Memorials may be made to Thornfield Cemetery.
