BARBARA LEE GREENE
Barbara Lee Greene, Thornfield, MO, passed away July 15, 2009 at her residence at the age of 71 years. She was born on August 28, 1937 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Milton and Viola (Garger) Whitworth.
On December 8, 1978 she was united in marriage to Lester "Al" Greene in St. Louis, MO. She was retired from the City of Clayton were she was employed as a Purchasing Agent. She and Al had moved to Ozark County, MO five years ago where they enjoyed the peaceful country setting. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all.
Mrs. Greene is survived by her husband Al Greene of the home in Thornfield, MO; one son Rick Lentz of Thornfield, MO; two grandchildren Sean and Shannon Lentz; three great grandchildren; and one sister Joan Bayer of St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Randy Lentz.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the Thornfield Cemetery, Thornfield, MO with Randy Dalton officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 3-7 PM at the Schrader Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO. Another visitation will be Monday, July 20, 2009 from 4-7 PM at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Gainesville, MO.
