Barbara Ruth Huffaker, 76 years, 5 months, 29 days old, passed away on January 6, 2017 at her home in Ava.
Barbara was born July 8, 1940 in Houston, TX to Mattie Goss.
Barbara was retired from working as a Certified Nurses Assistant and had also owned and operated her own cleaning business.
On December 15, 1978 Barbara and Paul Stanley Huffaker, Sr.were united in marriage at the Dogwood Nazarene Church in Ava.
Barbara was a Christian. Barbara enjoyed art and loved to draw. Her joy was spending time with all her grand and great grandchildren!
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, one son, Andrew Owen Wilkerson, one great granddaughter, Ashlynn Christine Markle, one sister, Dorothy Helmer, and brother-in-law, Melvin Nicholas Huffaker.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Paul of Ava, MO, eight children, Gerald Bane Wilkerson, Jr., Texas, Keith Allen Wilkerson, Tecumseh, MO, Paul Stanley Huffaker, Jr., Ava, MO, Mica Lynn Huffaker Fosdic, Neosho, MO, Robert Guy Jesse, Texas, Kris Lee Huffaker, Ava, MO, Trista Marie Humphries, Texas, and Rebecca Ann Nichols, Ava, MO, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one brother, Johnie Brodie, Texas, many nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
