Barbara Tidwell Warren

Barbara Pearl Tidwell Warren, 93 years, passed to heaven on November 30, 2011 at Sarcoxie Nursing Center.

Barbara was born November 11, 1918 in The Dalles, Oregon to Roy and Myra (Tegarden) Clibon.



Barbara was a resident of Sarcoxie, MO moving from Mansfield and Macomb, MO communities.

On May 24, 1936 Barbara and William "Bill" Tidwell were united in marriage in Dufur, Oregon and to this union six daughters were born.

Barbara was a retired seamstress and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Sarcoxie. Her joy was designing and making quilts for all her family and friends. Many times the quilts were given as wedding and Christmas gifts and all other occasions. She loved spending time with all her family.



Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William "Bill" Tidwell, two grandsons, Richard "Rick" Joe Graham and Doug William Haynes, one granddaughter, Kellye Lee Haynes, two great great granddaughters, Chelsea Stacy and Addison Carter, son-in-laws, Joe Graham & Clarence Downing. She was also married to Wilbur Warren, whom preceded her in death.



Barbara is survived by six daughters, Joanna Lee Haynes-Tidwell, Memphis, TN, Susie Ellen Graham, Mansfield, MO, Mary Lorraine & Carl Goss, Ava, MO, Lenora Mae Downing, Sarcoxie, MO, Donna Bernice & Brick Reed, Sarcoxie, MO and Lois Myra & Danny Douglas, Macomb, MO. "Grammie" has 18 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, 27 great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Barbara will be Saturday, December 3, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Dann Cemetery at Brownbranch. Visitation will be Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Danny Douglas and Rev. Rob Hodson. Memorials may be made to Dann Cemetery, Sarcoxie Nursing Center Activity Fund or Gideons.
