BASIL FRED MILLER

Basil Fred Miller, 66, of Theodosia, MO passed away on September 13, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on September 20, 1946 in Gainesville, MO the son of Nadene Miller.

Basil was a life-long resident of Ozark County. On December 14, 1967 he was united in marriage to Janice Cole. He was a truck driver for 41 years. He was able to travel all over the country and loved his job. Basil was a very good man who had lots of good friends. He was loved by all who knew him, and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother Nadene Adams; step father Dalmer Adams; and two siblings Ivan and Bertha May Adams. He is survived by his wife Janice Miller of the home in Theodosia, MO; three children Daniel Miller, Brian Miller, Denise Melton and husband Robbie; three grandchildren Kaylan Hopkins, Casey Hopkins and Jesse Miller; eight siblings Boyde Adams and wife Cindy, Alvin Adams and wife Chris, Edith Ann Lair, Eva Cole, Vicky Adams, Leon Adams, Glen Adams and wife Lorie and Dedie Perryman and husband Lloyd.

Funeral services for Basil will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2013 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO with Tom Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in the Cole Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 1 p.m. to service time.
