Belva Olene (Loftis) Egger, 79, of Thornfield, MO passed away May 2, 2025 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, MO. She was born April 28, 1946 to Olin Guy Loftis and Pearl Anderson Loftis at Barren Fork, MO.

Belva attended elementary school at Barren Fork and Nottinghill and graduated from Gainesville High School in 1964. She married Donald Ray Egger on September 15, 1966, and they were married 58 years. Belva spent her life as a dairy farmer and factory worker.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Egger; cousins Linda Shaffer Morris and Nancy Loftis Steele; along with a host of family members and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in the Loftis Cemetery. Officiating will be James Morris. Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Loftis Cemetery or Jackson Cemetery and can be left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
