Bessie Mae Chisam

Bessie Mae Chisam, 95, formerly of Ozark County, MO was born on May 22, 1922.  Bessie is the daughter of Calvin Snider and Bertha Piland Snider.

Bessie grew up in the Isabella, Missouri area.

She is survived by six children, Luther Hampton, Doyle Leonard Hampton, Charlotte Wood, Glenda Medley, Cecil Hampton, Sheldon Chisam, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by daughter Donnie Chisam and husband John Wesley Chisam.

Bessie has never backed down from a challenging life situation during very difficult times to provide for her family. Bessie went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2017 and she will be welcomed by the angels in Heaven to sing God's praises.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO. Burial will be in the Isabella Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening, November 10 ^th from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
