Betty Leona Haden, 83 years, 1 month, and 13 days old, passed away on June 23, 2025 at her home with Dall by her side.
Betty was born May 10, 1942 in Brownbranch, Missouri to Enoch and Gladys (Butler) Maggard.
On November 10, 1959, Betty and Dall Haden were united in marriage in Douglas county at preacher Raymond McGinnis' home. Together they were blessed with seven children.
Betty and her family attended Springcreek Church just south of Ava. Betty enjoyed fishing, quilting, cooking, canning, and gardening. In addition she loved shopping, specifically for each kid and grandkid. Betty's joy was taking care of all her family and especially those grand and great grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her son Robert Haden; sisters, Pauline Easter, Ruth Fleetwood, Dean Easter, and brother, Billy Maggard.
She is survived by her husband Dall; children and their spouses; Johnny and Rhonda Haden, Rick and Annette Haden, Linda Curtis, Daren Haden, Sandra and Glen Shotts, and Lorie Ross; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; siblings, Jimmy Maggard, Shirley Fleetwood, Lonnie Maggard, Ellis Maggard, and Nancy Bradshaw; many nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Betty will be Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with a visitation prior to the service at 12:30 P.M. Burial of her cremains will be in the Springcreek Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Ethan Pridemore. Family requests memorials to the Springcreek Cemetery or the donor's choice of charity.
