Betty Byrd Rauch, 80, Gainesville, MO, passed away on May 1, 2010 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born on February 11, 1930 in Rock Hill, South Carolina the daughter of Robert Olin and Mamie (Mangum) Byrd.

Betty worked a variety of jobs in her life, but her most important role was that of homemaker and loving mother. She had been a resident of Ozark County for the past five years after moving here from California.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Rauch, one brother, and four sisters. She is survived by her two children, Robert Joseph Rauch Jr. and his wife Susanne Gail of Virginia Beach, VA and Emily Sanchez-Orsini and her husband Julio of Gainesville, MO; six grandchildren Sarah, Jessica, Amanda, Juanita, Angela, and Olivia; twenty great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
