Beulah Anna Heatherly

Ozark, MO

Beulah Anna Heatherly, 95 years, 1 month, and 20 days old, passed to heaven on September 27, 2014 at Christian Healthcare, Nixa, MO with her family by her side.

Beulah was born August 7, 1919 in Ava, MO to John and Florence (Simmons) Dye. Beulah was a resident of Ozark for many years and was a homemaker. Beulah also worked and did ironing and laundry for many families through the years. On May 13, 1937 Beulah and Vernie Heatherly were united in marriage in Ava, MO and to this union four sons were born.

She was a member of the Ozark General Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. Beulah loved to be surrounded by all of her family, especially the grand and great grandchildren.

Beulah was preceded by her parents, her husband in 1978, three sisters, Melissa Welton, Fila Thurman and Eula Peterson, five brothers, Tommy, Henry, Clifford, Garland and Harley Dye.

Beulah is survived by four sons and their spouses, Russell and Patty Heatherly, Wandal and Janet Heatherly, Larry and Karen Heatherly all of Ozark, MO and Gary and Darlene Heatherly, Nixa, MO, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Beulah will be Wed., Oct. 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Sweden Cemetery east of Ava. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Applegate. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association or Gideon's International.
