Beverly Ann Metcalf, 57 years, 0 months, 18 days old, passed away on October 2, 2016 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO.

Beverly was born September 15, 1959 in Ulysses, Kansas to Franklin Dean and Patricia Ann (Burrows) Sewell.

Beverly Ann Sewell and Tex Clay Metcalf were united in marriage and to this union two daughters were born.

Beverly was a Christian and a member of the Church of Christ in Ulysses, Kansas.

Beverly enjoyed singing, fishing, camping and spending time outdoors. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Her biggest joy in life was making those around her as happy as she was when she was with them.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Tex Clay Metcalf, her father, Frank Sewell, her sister, Theresa Munkres, her granddaughter, Emma Maggard, her brother-in-law, Dave Lamberson, and many other family and friends.

Beverly is survived by her mother, Patricia Ann Sewell, two daughters, Melissa Hampton, Ava, MO and Carla Weitzel, Rogersville, MO, three granddaughters, Tessa Hampton, Harley Maggard and Amber Townsend, two brothers, Jeff Sewell (Val) and Troy & Roxy Sewell, one sister, Peggy Lamberson (Chris), sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and many other friends and family.


A memorial service for Beverly will be Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Rev. Roy Hampton.
