Billy Dean Medlock, 58 years, passed to heaven on April 21, 2010 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, MO.
Billy was born March 20, 1952 in Douglas County, MO to Floyd and Louisa (Harvey) Medlock.
Billy was a lifelong resident of Douglas County, MO. He worked at a Saw Mill. On March 29, 1996 Billy and Sheryl Lansdown were united in marriage in Douglas County, MO. Billy was a Christian and attended the Thornfield House of Prayer. He loved hunting and fishing and being with all of his grandchildren.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ora Lee & James Medlock and one sister Elda Fay.
Billy is survived by his wife,Sheryl Medlock, Ava, MO, three children, Russell Grider and wife, Jaime, Summersville, MO, Erin Hurd, Sparta, MO and Robin Mitchell and husband, Garry, Chadwick, MO, seven grandsons and one on-the-way, Dalton, Benjamin, Adam, Kevin, Ely, Briar "Scooter" and Clayton, one brother, Ronnie Medlock, Idaho, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Billy will be Saturday, April 24, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Murray Cemetery, Squires, MO. Visitation will be Friday, April 23, 2010 from 6 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Stan Collins. Memorials may be made as a Love offering to the family.
