Robert C. "Bob" Bryant, 62
A memorial service for Robert C. "Bob" Bryant, 62, of Gainesville will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at the First Christian Church in Gainesville. Visitation will follow the service, continuing until 7 p.m. Mr. Bryant died July 7 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born Aug. 2, 1950, in Springfield, the son of Robert and Mabel Hicks Bryant.
He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1968 and then graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1972.
On June 17, 1975, he married Karen Swan in Mountain Home.
Mr. Bryant taught veterans vocational agriculture classes in Mountain Home and then in Gainesville, and he began what became a long and successful career in real estate based in the Bryant and Associates office in Gainesville.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; his mother, Mabel Bryant; and one son, Travis Bryant, all of Gainesville, and one daughter Ashley Bryant of Denver, Colo.; one grandson, Trace Bryant; one brother Steve Bryant and wife Vickie of Gainesville; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Kathy.
