Bobbie Jean Cantrell, 86 years, 1 month, 23 days old, passed away on April 9, 2026, at her home in Ava, Missouri. Her family was by her side.

On February 17, 1940, Bobbie was born in Possum Walk, Texas, to Clifton and Annie Lee (Thompson) Reynolds.

She grew up in Pennington, Texas, and graduated from Pennington High School, where she played basketball and volleyball. She was raised on a farm. Bobbie picked cotton at an early age, mostly cared for the younger siblings, and learned the value of hard work.

In June of 1961, Bobbie and Gerald “Jerry” Eugene Tuck were united in marriage in Jacksonville, Texas, and together they were blessed with five children, Mark, Michael, Kim, Sheri, and Joseph.

Bobbie entertained her children with many stories of living on the old homestead.

Even as a young child, Bobbie always dreamed of being a mother. As a single mom she was an Optician and then later opened and operated her private daycare in Houston, Texas.

Bobbie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She moved to Ava, Missouri in 2013 and met Willis Walter Cantrell. They married in St. Louis, Missouri, in October of 2014.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; her son, Mark and his wife, Christine; her three sisters, Mary, Jo Ann, and Cora.

Bobbie is survived by her children and their spouses, Michael and Paula Tuck, Kim and Todd Wilcox, Sheri and John Rivera, and Joseph and Rachel Tuck; 21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren; siblings and their spouses, Jim and Nora Reynolds, John and Patricia Reynolds, Clifford Reynolds and Connie Due, Buddy and Kerri Reynolds, Dianne Droddy, Delores and Billy Moore, and Nelson and Linda Reynolds, and extended family and friends.

Cremation services for Bobbie are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Texas.
