Bobby Osburn, son of Willie Osburn and Marie Cunningham. Bobby was born on January 1, 1942 in Ava Missouri and departed this life on August 28, 2008 at the age of 66 years, 7 months and 27 days old.
On August 17 of 1963, Bobby and Connie Sue Thomas were united in marriage, to this union two children, Joan Hampton and Billy Osburn, were born. Bobby especially enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Willie Osburn. He is survived by his wife, Connie Osburn, daughter, Joan Hampton, Taneyville, MO, son Billy and Susan Osburn of Ava MO, and two grandchildren Eldon and Melissa Hampton and Sheri Hampton. Other survivors include his mother, Marie Osburn, Ava MO, three brothers Melvin and Pat Osburn, Ava MO, Gale and Wanda Osburn, Oldfield MO, and Ronnie and Sheila Osburn of Rogersville MO, and one sister Norene and Johnny Cline, Forsyth MO along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava MO on Tuesday September 2, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Tom Johnson and Rev. Gale Osburn officiating. Interment for Bobby will follow at the Stillings Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday September 1, 2008 from 6-7:30 P.M. Memorials may be made out to Seasons Hospice of Springfield Missouri.
