Bonita Gayle Lawrence, 76 years, 22 days old, passed away on February 24, 2026, at her home with all her family by her side.

Bonita was born February 2, 1950 in West Plains, Missouri, to Albert Noel and Darlene Faye (Farra) Lambeth.

On July 1, 1966, Bonita and Steve Lawrence were united in marriage in Clayton, New Mexico, and together were blessed with two sons, Steve Jr. and Ralph.

Bonita worked as a seamstress with Hagale Manufacturing. She also worked at Reebok as a manager for several years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family. She was a dedicated wife and mother and will be greatly missed.

Bonita was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Bob Lambeth.

Bonita is survived by her husband, Steve; her sons, Steve Lawrence, Jr. and Ralph Bradley Lawrence and wife, Amy Jo; four grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; siblings, Randy Lambeth, Mike Lambeth, Ramona Mowery, Jesse Wilson, Faye Robinson, Bill Renfro, and Orval Renfro; extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Bonita will be Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri, with burial following in the Martin-Horner Cemetery, Bradleyville, Missouri. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM to service time. Officiating will be Pastor Eddie Hunsaker. Memorials may be made to the Martin-Horner Cemetery.
