Bonnie M. Riley, daughter of J. L. Ward and Rose (Woodhouse) Ward was born on Nov. 6, 1918 in Dale, Oklahoma and passed away on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 at Marshall, AR at the age of 90 years 22 days.
Bonnie was a resident of Douglas County most of her life. On May 6, 1939 Bonnie and Edwin B. Riley were united in marriage in Culver, CA and to this union four sons were born. Bonnie was a Christian and a member of the Brushy Knob Church since 1948.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edwin, a son, Dusty and one grandson, five brothers and four sisters. She is survived by three sons and their spouses, Edwin "Smokey" and MaryAnn Riley, Gary "Blackey" and Wanda Riley, Leslie , AR, Tim "Rockey" & Sanda Riley, Marshall, AR, eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Services for Bonnie will be Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, 10:00 A.M. at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with Rev.Harold Dennis officiating. Interment will follow in the Brushy Knob Cemetery. Family requests memorials to Gideons.
