Brandon Shane Turner, 31 years, passed to heaven on October 18, 2014 at his home.

Brandon was born October 28, 1982 in Springfield, MO to Denzill Turner and Kathy (Frye). He graduated from Ava High School in 2001.

He was a Supervisor with Executive Coach Builders in Springfield, MO for many years.

He was saved at a young age and had been attending the Ava Assembly of God.

Brandon loved to draw and enjoyed body work on cars. He also enjoyed dirt bikes, hunting, fishing, gardening, landscaping, good times and being with his friends and family. Brandon was ornery but also especially kind and generous. He loved people and never knew a stranger.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fonzo & Mary Frye, Therma Turner and Sue & Jim Valentine and an uncle, Jeff Potter.


Brandon is survived by his parents, Kathy & Monty Valentine, Squires, MO & Denzill & Debbie Turner, Theodosia, MO, two brothers, Nathaniel & Kelly Jo Turner, Forsyth, MO, Rocky & Breanna Valentine, Rogersville, MO,
two step sisters, Kelly & Beverley Barnum, Ava, MO, grandfathers, Russell Turner, Squires, MO, and Jack Mergendahl, Wasola, MO, step mother, Bonnie Kuhn, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and many friends.


Funeral services for Brandon will be Wednesday, October 22, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Springcreek Cemetery just south of Ava. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Louis Stern and friend Steve Hall. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Autism Speaks.
