BRIGITTA BRIGHT

Brigitta Bright, of Wasola, MO, formerly of Anamosa, IA, passed away on April 16, 2013 at home with her family by her side. She was born on July 21, 1934 in Mainz, Germany, the daughter of Wilhelm "Bill" and Marguerita (Schwerdtfeger) Steins.

Brigitta moved to the United States as a teenager, and was very proud to be an American. She was a long time resident of Anamosa, IA, before she and her husband of 62 years, George Bright, moved to the Ozarks. She worked for many years as a radio assembler for Rockwell Collins Radio.

Brigitta was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Marguerita Steins. She is survived by her children William "Bill" Bright and wife Sherry of Anamosa, IA, George Bright and wife Gayle of South Dakota, Rory Bright and wife Jan of Wasola, MO, Brandon Bright of Cedar Rapids, IA and Brenda Hollingshead and husband David of Anamosa, IA; granddaughters Kasey Spores of Anamosa, IA, Heidi Tyler of Texas, Natasha Wight of Arizona, Markie Camp and husband Dalejoe of Anamosa, IA, Gilligan Heirigs of South Dakota and Gabi Ahlers of South Dakota; grandsons Cody Bright of Anamosa, IA and Sean Bright of Cedar Rapids, IA; and 19 great grandchildren.
