Carl Everett McCullough, son of Ace McCullough and Ora Bookout McCullough was born on Dec. 25, 1928 in Ava, MO and departed this life on June 10, 2007 in Baxter Regional Medical Center, Mtn. Home, AR at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 15 days.

Carl was a resident of Mtn. Home for six years moving from Hardy, AR after residing in West Plains, MO for 25 years. He was an Air Force Veteran and served his country in WWII. On Jan. 14, 1967 Carl and Carolyn Perkins were united in marriage in Ava, MO. Carl enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, fishing, sightseeing & traveling and playing with his grandchildren. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, three sisters and a son, Carl Ray.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn McCullough of the home in Mtn. Home, two sons & their spouses, Ross & Jeanne McCullough, Blackfoot, Idaho, Alan & Gayle McCullough, Ava, MO, two daughters & their spouses, Lisa & Jerry Peck, Linden, MI and Carla & Nick Tomei, Sr., Mtn. Home, AR, 13 grandchildren, one great grandson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Carl are Wed., 2:00 P.M., June 13, 2007 at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with Pastor Roger McCullough officiating. Interment will follow in the Arden Cemetery near Ava. Visitation is Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Family requests memorials to the Arden Cemetery.
