Carl Eugene Smith, 78 years, 6 months, 1 day old, passed away on June 7, 2021 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center ER in Mountain Home, AR with his family by his side.

Carl was born December 6, 1942 in Souder, Missouri to Lyle Wayne and Virginia Maxine (Alsup) Smith.

On June 22, 1960 Carl and Vena Dye were united in marriage at Ava, MO and to this union they were blessed with three children.

Carl worked as a dairy farmer for most of his life. He also raised herbs and sold herbs to many people. Carl enjoyed horses and going to Rodeo's. He was a Christian and a member of the Souder Church of Christ in Ozark County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Randy, his wife, Vena, a brother-in-law, Ival Rowe, a son-in-law, Keith Allen Wilkerson and two grandsons, Judah and Joshua Wilkerson.

Carl is survived by his two daughters, Juanita Wilkerson and June Hitchcock both of Ava, his sister, Wanda Rowe of Springfield, MO, brother and his wife, Junior & Cindy Smith of Ava, grandchildren, Larry Hitchcock and wife, Angela, April Hitchcock and husband, William, and Seth Eckhoff, several great grandchildren, Jasmine, Eland, Nevaeh, Jeremiah, Bella, Aubrey, Jacob, Jamie, and Brian, brother-in-law, Danny Harris, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Carl will be Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the Souder Cemetery, Wasola, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd. Memorials may be made to Souder Cemetery. Due to health issues in the family, the family requests everyone attending to wear a mask. Thank you.
