CARLIE MAE CHANDLER
Carlie Mae Chandler, 63, of Gainesville, MO passed away on November 3, 2013 at her residence after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born on March 5, 1950 in St. Charles, MO the daughter of David and Ercy Mae (McGill) Pennington.
Carlie moved to the Theodosia/Gainesville area in 1999. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and the many friends that she came to know throughout her life. She was a very loving woman and cared about everyone she knew.
Carlie is survived by her husband Richard Dale Chandler; two sons and two daughters Sharon Culbreth, Dennis Buswell Jr., Connie Nelson and Bobby Wood; and one surviving sister, Penny Gibison. Carlie had thirteen grandchildren and six known great grandchildren; plus many more that she claimed as sons, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and late husband, Bob Wood.
No local services are planned at this time. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
