Carol Baldwin

Carol Jean Baldwin, 64 years, passed away on June 17, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO with her family by her side.
Carol was born September 24, 1953 in Wilmington, Delaware. Her parents were Charles and Ethel (Taylor) Eager.
On September 25, 1976 Carol and Mark Baldwin were united in marriage at Newtown, PA and they were blessed with two children, Danial and Theresa.
Together, Carol and Mark raised and showed Arabian Horses. She had also managed horse farms in her earlier years. She enjoyed raising and breeding dogs. The breed that she was most well known for was the Chinese Cresteds! In all the breeds that she bred and showed, she produced Best in Show Winners and in the Chinese Cresteds, she produced multiple Best in Show Winners! Carol had a heart and love for all animals. She was a Christian and believed in the Bible.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Mark, a brother-in-law, Gary Baldwin, Wasola, MO, two children and their spouses, Danial Eager & Tamera Stigall of Ava, MO and Theresa & Harry Smart of, Texas, a special friend like family, David Chubb of PA, one granddaughter, Nicole, one great granddaughter, half brother, William, half sisters, Vicky, Marcy, and Lynn, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. with service time at 3:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO. Officiating is Pastor Terry Dry. Memorials may be made to Stand Against Human Trafficking, www.standagainsttrafficking.org.
