CAROL ANN SWEANEY-CARPENTER
Carol Ann Sweaney-Carpenter, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas, New Years Day January 1, 2008. She was born July 11, 1943 in Long Beach, California. She lived in Taft, Ca. during her childhood years and early adult life. Carol then ventured on to live in many new places with her family including in Alaska, Lake Isabella and then on to Missouri where she settled with husband Max Carpenter previously of Taft. Carol loved camping, hiking, antiquing, and was a beautician by trade. She also held a great interest in the Native American Culture.
Carol is preceded in death by her first husband Randy Sweaney of Taft and parents Phil and Lois Macewich of Taft. She is survived by son Roger Sweaney and daughter in law Melissa of Bakersfield, Ca.; her daughter Kiah Pues and son in law Steven of Lake Isabella, Ca.; her three sisters Phyllis Nunes, Janet and husband Rick Hawkins of Taft, Mary Jo and husband Larry Joyner of Wofford Heights, Ca. and five grandchildren including Brennon, Dylan, Devin Pues, Jordan and Parker Sweaney. Graveside Services will be Friday, January 4, 2008, 1:00 PM, at Gainesville Cemetery with Halbert Smith officiating. Clinkingbeard Funeral Home of Gainesville, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
