Carolyn Fay Burkdoll, 84 years, 28 days old, passed away on September 25, 2026, at her home in Ava, Missouri.

Carrie was born August 27, 1942, in Crawfordsville, Arkansas to Samuel and Bertie (Harris) Mitchusson.

On June 1, 1960, Carrie and John Lowell Burkdoll, Sr. were united in marriage at Rochelle, Illinois and together were blessed with three children, Johnny Jr., Joan, and Jason.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Sr., and her son, Jason.

Carrie is survived by her two children, Johnny Jr. and Phyllis Burkdoll, and Joan Burkdoll all of Ava, Missouri; grandchildren, Micca, Kati, Austin, Amanda, Haylee, Alex, and Shane; several great grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Cremation services for Carrie are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri. A family memorial graveside will be Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. in the Murray Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Roger Evans. In lieu of flowers, family request memorials to the Murray Cemetery.
