Charlene Hunt, 82 years, 4 months, and 1 day old, passed to Heaven on July 6, 2016 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO.
Charlene was born March 5, 1934 in Delmar, AL to William "Willie" Thomas and Ellen (Brogdon) Mayhall.
On March 15, 1957 Charlene and Paul Bruce Hunt were united in marriage and to this union one daughter, Lisa was born. Charlene was a homemaker.
She was a Christian and of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed gardening, playing scrabble with her daughter, watching the TV show, "Murder She Wrote" with her granddaughter, and her hummingbirds.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four siblings, Willie Lou Alexander, Wanda Elliott, Floearine Cox and Bobby Joe Mayhall.
Charlene is survived by her daughter and husband, Lisa & George Kaberlein, Ava, MO, two grandchildren, Jeremiah Alexander and Alaina Nicole Kaberlein, two sisters, Nettie Faye Avery, and Ruby Nell Butler, both of Jasper, AL, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Cremation services for Charlene are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Because of her love for birds, memorials may be made to the Audubon Society, www.audubon.org.
