Charles Kevin Nix, 67, of Gainesville, MO passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026 at his home surrounded by faith and family. He was born September 8, 1959 in Corpus Christi, TX to Charles Earl Nix and Barbara Ann (Coil) Edwards.

Kevin was known for his love of family and music. He was a skilled guitar player and also enjoyed fishing and joking around.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Edwards and his sister, Pamela Neri. He was preceded in death by his dad, Donald Lee Edwards.

The family will have a quite service and spread his ashes with his nephews and family.

Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
