Rev. Charles Jefferson Lynn, son of Charles William Lynn and Annabell (Brewer) Lynn, was born Dec. 25, 1921 in Huntsville, Missouri and departed this life Nov. 13, 2006 at the age of 84 years 10 months and 18 days.
Charles lived in the Ave area for several years. After retirement from the Railroad he was employed in concrete construction. He enjoyed church, playing guitar, singing gospel music, witnessing for the lord and never met a stranger. He attended Oldfield Full Gospel Church. On June 10, 200l Charles and Euneeda Heath were united in marriage in Seymour, Missouri.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lela Lynn and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Euneeda Lynn, of the home, Ava, MO. one brother, Albert Lynn, Hanna City, IL, one sister, Dolores Hurtado, Las Cruces, NM, several nieces and nephews, step-children, grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, Nov. 17, 2006 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Benny DeWitt and Brother Leslie Buckner officiating. Interment will follow in the Ava cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 6 to 7 P.M. in the funeral home. Memorials may be to Bible Way Association, Donovan, Missouri.
