CHARLES FRED WIGGINS
Fred Wiggins, 73, of Theodosia, MO, passed away on July 20, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. He was born on September 8, 1938 in Pontiac, MO, the son of Charlie and Ruby (Naves) Wiggins.
Fred grew up in Ozark County and spent most of his life as a resident of the Theodosia area. He owned and operated Wiggins Trash Service for many years, servicing the Gainesville area, as well as a large part of rural Ozark County. He then went to work for Isabella Ready Mix for several years. Fred was a kind hearted and giving man. He was always ready to help someone in need. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He had a passion for shooting pool, and always carried a cue stick with him behind the truck seat. He loved his family very much and always enjoyed visiting with his friends and family.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ruby Wiggins and one brother, Frank Wiggins. He is survived by his children Lori Sharp and husband Gene of Ava, MO, Ronald Bearden and wife Sandy of Austin, MN, Lee Bearden and wife Stephane of Gainesville, MO and Anthony Wiggins and wife Carol of Tecumseh, MO; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother Roy Wiggins and wife Harriette of Old Joe, AR; one sister Rosie Jennings and husband Wallace of Protem, MO; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
A Graveside Memorial Service for Fred will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Isabella Cemetery in Isabella, MO. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
