CHESTER STRONG
Funeral Services for Chester Strong, 77, of Gainesville, MO will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Joe Bean officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 p.m. to service time.

Mr. Strong passed away and went home to be with his Lord and Savior at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK on December 24, 2015. He was born October 22, 1938 in Dell, AR, the son of Noah and Edith (Norton) Strong.

He is survived by five children: Rickey Strong and wife Cathy of Richlands, VA, Vickie Alexander and husband Vance of Sand Springs, OK, Mickey Strong of Tulsa, OK, Dickey Strong and wife Kimberly of Tulsa, OK and Tom Sutton of St. Louis, MO; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; two brothers Lester Strong and wife Pauline of Seymour, MO, Arlie Strong and wife Pat of Batesville, AR; sister-in-law Betty Strong of Gainesville, MO; sister-in-law Norma Clair and husband Dan; and brother-in-law Donald Sutton and wife Florence.

He was preceded in death by wife Virginia Strong; his parents Noah and Edith Strong; sister Mary Hayes and husband Tom; brothers James, Johnny, Harley Lee and Elmer; sisters Stella Louise and Barbara Elaine.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Patrick Cemetery. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
