CHRISTOPHER "CHRIS" HANNAFORD

Chris Hannaford, 48, of Gainesville, MO passed away March 23, 2019 at the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center, Ava, MO. He was born August 7, 1970 in Mtn Home, AR, son of Jerry and Janet (Sanford) Hannaford.

Chris was a 1988 graduate of Gainesville High School. Soon after graduation, Chris began working in heavy construction. He spent many years on the road, mostly as a Superintendent for various companies. He moved back to Gainesville in 2011 and bought the family farm where he grew up. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting his guns, and anything outdoors. Most of all he loved his family. Chris had a heart of gold and was always ready to help someone in need. His warm smile and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his fiancé Lori Crouch; his mother Janet Hannaford; brother Kent Hannaford; two nephews Kyle Hannaford and wife Tara, Kenny Hannaford and wife Kalyn; two great nieces Jade and Evelyn; two close friends Rob and Marvin; and a host of extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Hannaford.

The family will honor Chris's wish for cremation. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
