CHRISTOPHER F. RICHARDS

Christopher F. Richards, 38, of Gainesville, MO passed away on November 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 5, 1976 in Olathe, KS son of Merrill Dean and Sandra Kay (Terry) Richards.

Chris grew up and graduated from Spring Hill High School, KS in 1994. He began working at age 18 at VesCom working as a printing press operator, and later as supervisor. He retired after 20 years there and moved to the Ozarks earlier this year. Chris was an avid hunter. He also loved fishing and the outdoors. He loved his dogs and being with his family very much. He was loved and will be missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Richards of the home in Gainesville, MO; wife Sherri of Olathe, KS; step son Jason; step daughter Jennifer; four grandchildren: Gage, Wyatt, Dylan and Marly; his grandmother Versal Terry of Theodosia, MO; two brothers Doug Richards of Atlanta, GA and Dennis Richards and wife Angela of Olathe, KS; and several other extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Merrill Richards; his grandfathers Flay Terry and Bill Richards; and his grandmother Opal Richards.

Funeral services are Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Doyle Turner officiating. Visitation is Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. to service time. Burial is in the Price Place Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Price Place Cemetery.
