Christina Lue Smith, 68 years, 6 months, 7 days old, passed away on March 16, 2026, at Mercy St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View, Missouri.

Christina was born September 9, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio to Robert Charles and Luella (Howell) Brush.

She grew up in Eaton, Ohio. She received her GED.

On September 12,1973 , Christina and James Daniel Smith were united in marriage at Pearcy, Arkansas. They were blessed with two children, Sheila and Raymond.

She was employed with a mining company as a Haul Truck Driver and Trainer. She worked at this for 10 years. She was a member of the LDS Church. Christina enjoyed gardening and most of all spending time with her family and especially her grand and great grandchildren. One of her favorite hymns was “Amazing Grace” and “The Old Rugged Cross”. She will be greatly missed.

Christina was preceded in death by her parents; her eldest sister, Sheila Brush, two brothers, John J. and Thomas Brush.

Christina is survived by her husband, James; children, Sheila Jones and Raymond Smith; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her brother, Rod Brush; nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Ava, Missouri. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date and time.
